Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a cup of unsalted butter
  •  1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  •  2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  •  1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  •  1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • (OPTIONAL) ½ cup of milk chocolate chips

 Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) if your oven runs pretty hot like mine, I put my oven at 345 degrees F
  1. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  1. In a glass bowl melt ½ cup of unsalted butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup of cocoa powder, ½ cup of all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. (OPTIONAL) fold in ½ cup of milk chocolate chips.
  1. Spread batter into prepared plan
  1. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook. How I make sure not to overcook the brownies is by using a toothpick. Stick a toothpick in the middle of the brownies and pull it out, if it comes out clean with no batter stuck to it that means that the brownies are ready.

Make sure to mix your eggs, melted butter, and vanilla first.

Than mix in the rest of your ingredients.

This is what the brownies should look like before and after they cook.

Me and my family enjoyed these brownies very much, and I hope that anyone who tried this recipe will enjoy them as much as I did.

    1. oh yes! there are these cookies where you take cake mix but don’t add the water. you mix it until it is a cookie like consistency scoop onto a pan, then pop them in the oven let cool and put frosting in between as sandwich cookies! they sound really basic but they are 2 die 4!
